The Delta Petroluem Company is located on 6.5 acres of land and is the original site that was developed in 1946. The plant handles over 50 million gallons of lubricant blending per year, ranging from crankcase and specialty oils for the major oil Companies to reference oils for ASTM and OEM’s.  This location also offers the ability to fill oils into different packages such as quarts, gallons, pails, drums and totes. This location also houses the Customer Service Group for all orders for the Metairie and St Rose plants.

In reference to chemical blending, this site has ability for high temperature heating to blend such products as Viscosity improvers and Polybutenes at temperatures up to 250 F. The blending system can be recirculation, PulseAir, mechanical, or Nitrogen purging. Size of blend tanks range from 500 gallons to 100,000 gallons, primarily all carbon steel. A full-scale lab that can perform most ASTM tests also supports this site. The site permits allow us to handle most products that are not considered hazardous.
