Terminaling
Most of the Delta Companies plants have dedicated tanks that are ideally suited for non-hazardous specialty products which are considered lower volume but more expensive than commodity products. These tanks are typically carbon steel and range in the size from 2,000 gallons up to 100,000 gallons. The average size is about 30,000 gallons. Most of these tanks can be equipped with their own pumps, filters, and lines. Mixing systems can also be added, ranging from mechanical mixers to reciculation, Pulse Air, and sparging.(see Lubricant and Chemical Blending). Capabilities for rail, marine and truck access are available, but are dependent on the location of tanks. Steam and nitrogen is also available.
Based on your specific requirements, your Delta sales representative would review your application and determine which Delta company at which site can handle your products from a permit and HS & E standpoint. Then a detailed proposal would be provided as to how that Delta company could handle the products and what equipment would be required. The Delta Companies are known for their flexibility and quick response. In many cases, the equipment is up and running in half the time, for half the cost, than what it would take for another major supplier. For information on bulk storage at a specific site, go to Sites. |
